Almost falling asleep
Beaaaaaaaaaaautiful morning to be out for a ride. The conditions were just ideal to be out and about. It was just a tad cold, but I was toasty warm wearing three layers on the body. Legs are rather tried from yesterday’s ride, so I decided to really wind it down and just cruise.
There’s something I really like about the dawn twilight stillness on the Yarra. It’s really peaceful rolling along the pontoon bridges, before the hum of cars rises to a crescendo, with the reflection of the moon shimmering off the river, broken only by a lone rower sculling their way upstream.
Tried to take a photo of it, but the camera phone wasn’t really up to the task. Oh my kingdom for my 400D…
